I ordered this and I'm excited to get to try out that mouse. As a lefty, I've long been eyeing it, as I need a good ambidextrous mouse.
I already have the Blackwidow Elite and for the most part love it, it's the best feeling keyboard to type on I've ever used, it just feels great and types so well. It has its faults (volume wheel sucks, lighting software sucks, alt symbols on keys aren't lit up, super clangy, metallic vibration sound on every keypress), but its magnetic wrist pad is incredible, super convenient, and still holding strong all puffed up in like-new condition a year later despite plenty of leaning on it with my elbows.
So I'm getting the V3 here for my other PC setup, for the wireless capability, and the improved keycap lighting (all symbols, yay!). Hopefully I won't need o-rings for this one too to muffle the clanginess and vibration and hard contacts, but we'll see. I think I'll like just how loud these green tactile switches will be.
have no idea what the others are talking about when they say the wrist rest is garbage - for me it's been the complete opposite experience, it's the best and most comfortable one I've ever used - at least the Elite version, which appears to be slightly different & superior, but they seem largely alike that it should still be nearly as good here. This is the V3 Pro, which has the same super-puffy wrist pad, whereas maybe they're thinking of the standard V3, which appears to not have a puffy wrist pad? (Just my assumption, as I've never actually seen or used that base model.)
Btw don't bother with the (overpriced) 2 year Geek Squad warranty for this. Both products already come with their own limited 2 year warranties.
