$50/year constitutes "paying a lot?" I only shop there 4-5 times a year and I easily make my $50 back. 8 out of every 10 deals I see on SD are not of much interest to me. Guess what? I scroll on to something else, rather than whining in the thread about it.

If you live or work nearby and just take advantage of their classic loss items like the 1.50$ hot dog and soda with free refills or 5$ whole rotisserie chicken it will mostly pay for itself or more if you shop smart or even more if there's a Business Costco nearby, that's where the real bulk deals are and they're open to regular members nothing extra needed.

I normally think of something else when someone says "honey bucket".

It's so weird to have so many threads on the front page about Costco today. Feels like it's becoming the Costco forum.

I get that people like to shop there, but not everyone is a member. Their membership is pretty expensive for what it is and many stores may not be conveniently located for people to even consider shopping there regularly.

Is it really a SD when you have to sign up and pay alot to get the sale price?

It seems kind of like the YMMV threads which were dominating the forum awhile back but thankfully have kind of died down. Didn't bring much value to the forum.

Do you not have a Costco.com near you?

We had nothing but 2 solid years of Fry's in-store only deals. Seeing something you can't take advantage of may be something to complain about, but it just plain hurts when there are regional deals that you'd drive 100 miles for and it's only 3 states.

You haven't noticed the streak of just plain ODD garments in bizarre sizes on fp?

I'm honestly not digging on you. It just seems like there's a lot of costco stuff when it hits the sidebar too. We're REALLY lucky that the search function is as good as it is, and that 99% of all responses aren't SEARCH!

That said, 11lbs of honey? I just added another way I want to die on my list. Big Grin

The last time I had a use for 12 lbs of honey was in Bangkok.

Worked at a bulk tea and tea supply distribution warehouse, obviously.

I think the Creami link is wrong, or it's sold out. Either way, should probably remove it from the listing.
