As much as I'm sure this is a great game, as most Lego games usually are, they also seem to drop down to $20 within a couple months and $9.99 in about 6 months, so gonna wait this one out.

I played the Lego Movie game on Switch the other day and couldn't believe how poorly it ran. I never expected the Switch to run AAA games well, but Lego games.

Thanks, since i pc game i know this will be to a low price in a year but honestly want to support the creators. So i'll buy, at a small discount. I don't purchase many games full price. Last one was forza horizon 5, and before that....Call of duty modern warefare from like 2019 or so.

Apparently this runs fantastic on Switch. Only minor slowdowns when in split screen large open areas.

ya i started playing it. it's different from the other lego games. anakin did sound weird haha. i've just finished episode 1. the gameplay is a bit different... on the negative side. although at least the loading is faster. i'll keep playing it though. not as fun as i thought it would be.

the lego humor is there. jar jar binks is still annoying.

maybe i have to get used to the new gameplay. i want to enjoy it more.

If anyone played Lego Star Wars The Force Awakens or any Lego games since then (like DC Super-Villains), this one will be a little more familiar. QTEs have been around in Lego games for a while, and they've been expanding the menus for years. The overall mechanics seem like a natural evolution from what the Lego games have been doing, but they do take some getting used to. For Star Wars fans, I definitely agree that the voice acting is definitely more than a little off.

Overall I'm really enjoying it. So much content.

This game has had a very successful launch, I'm not so sure it's going to drop like a rock in price like past Lego games have: https://twitter.com/BenjiSales/st...5861436431

As far as the voice acting, they probably didn't get all the rights for all the voice actors, so it's probably a mix of original and replacement movie lines (that's my guess, I haven't played/looked that factoid up). EDIT: I was (partially) wrong, all dialogue has been re-recorded for the purposes of sound quality, apparently.

Also, there's more DLC coming on both April 19th and May 4th for the Deluxe Edition:

Trooper Pack – April 5th as pre-order/April 19th for everyone
Classic Characters Pack – April 5th as pre-order/April 19th for everyone
Rogue One A Star Wars Story – April 19th
Mandalorian Season 2 – May 4th
The Bad Batch – May 4th

So if you bought the DE and are wondering where your "missing" DLC is, there's your answer.

I got some emails earlier this week advertising this game's release, so I tried to search online to find out what the contents of this game are. That is, is it just a compilation of the old Star Wars Lego games (Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga, The Clone Wars and The Force Awakens) with some new content thrown in, or is this a totally brand new game consisting of 9 completely new episodes?

I wasn't able to find the answer. Could anyone tell me what the contents of this game are or what is duplicated from previous games?
