Depends. If all you're trying to do is have a tin of standard bandages, sure. This first aid kit has different types of bandage, wraps and wipes which may be more cost-effective than trying to buy each individually— especially if these are used infrequently.
But yes, it will be generally cheaper to make your own "kit" by stuffing some bandages in your own box.
These appear to be FSA or HSA eligible items! Score!
"FSA or HSA eligible item
On Amazon, these items can be purchased with most FSAs (Flexible Spending Accounts) and HSAs (Health Savings Accounts). If you have a card, you can add it in checkout.
You can also purchase these items using a different payment method and choose to be reimbursed from your benefit administrator later."
**Don't forget to check the EXPIRATION DATES when you get these!** Many reviewers stated some kits were expired (ointments, etc), but as many or more said they were at least 2 years from expiry.

The point of this is to throw one in each car as a zero-effort cheap solution. If you have access to a cabinet of first aid supplies at work, by all means construct a better one.
