And the water reservoir takes up a lot of space so it actually has a lot less space for the dust/junk it vacuums up and so needs to be emptied more often than a robot that lacks mopping functionality.
Features are second-to-none, though. Especially for the price. But if you're on the fence about mopping, it does have some tradeoffs.

The mopping function on the roborocks only prolong the time between manual mopping, and not by much nor long
If you are expecting this to replace mopping altogether be prepared for disappointment.
It recharges faster, is quieter and seems to run a little longer. I don't really use the mop so much.
ECOVACS Deebot N8 Pro+
Roborock S7+
AIRROBO T10+

etc etc
basically, the min requirement for robot vacuum in 2022 should be
1. laser navigation
2. auto empty bin
better if you can get
1. obstacle avoidence
2. auto refill mop water and cleaning
There is one design oversight I noticed with S6 MaxV. Its brush stops rolling on the carpeted area. It spins every 30 seconds or so which lasts for only 3-4 seconds. Due to that the carpets are not cleaned to the level of a dedicated vacuum cleaner. Users are left wanting. I looked online and found it to be a common issue with this model. There isn't a firmware fix or even an acknowledgement from the Roborock support.
This is my first Roborock device. I heard that the models prior to this were better in this regard.
The robot works really well except for the above issue, t. Object avoidance is a mixed bag but works most of the time.
For what it's worth, I have the regular S6 in a house with mixed tile and low carpet, and mine has been working/spinning for almost 2 years now.

The mop function - haven't used it yet on the E4 and I have a feeling I won't use it at all. I'll probably end up returning it and getting one of these refurbs.
So any opinions on S5 Max vs S6 Pure vs S6 vac /mop?
Removes footprints and picks up dead grass just fine. We just do manual mop once a week since we got this.
Not so great on carpet but great for hardwood floors.
Do you have it working with the Roborock App? Or just the Mi Home app? We have the S5, and I love it, but it seems to be the inky one not supported in the Roborock app, so I can't get it working with Alexa.
I can confirm this works in Roborock app. Maybe only the non-Max version is not supported.
It recharges faster, is quieter and seems to run a little longer. I don't really use the mop so much.
