These are great --
Mix into a coke to get a near identical "coke w/ lime" from the Freestyle machines.. tastes great on things that I would normally use Tajin on (like cucumber slices) and works nicely in water.

One packet goes a decent way. I like strong stuff and half a packet should be enough for most people.

Super convenient to be able to take to work, mix into drinks or food and not have to worry about carrying around a large shaker

These are fantastic. Mostly use the lime with hummus, diet coke, or to add to some chicken. I think I remember lime also working particularly well with any blue raspberry type flavor.

I could see these being useful for replacing those little bottles of lemon and lime juice. Could these be used to make cilantro lime rice or would the lemon ones work to make a substitute buttermilk (lemon packet and milk)?

Love these things. The box says 1 packet is equal to one wedge, so that makes this roughly equivalent to paying 40 cents a lime at $4.65 for 100 packets. Which is probably accurate but only if you're mixing it into a liquid. As a dry seasoning, because it can sit right on the surface, I think the flavor can be much more intense than a liquid lime product. The only negative I might say about these is that it does take a lot of agitation if you want it to completely dissolve into a liquid, but with drinking water, I actually find that kind of a bonus like the nugg of chocolate at the bottom of a nutty buddy.
