It's not the best all time price but I've been looking for a bit and it's not a bad dip if you need a ladder right now. Cost of metals is way up right now.
I have both the gorilla and two Werner (14 and 22), granted the gorilla is a MPXT (the top in the a position is different, and as an extension type ladder has a wider step in the middle). My Werner is older, probably 6 years+, and what I like about the gorilla besides the step mentioned above and higher weight rating, is that the gorilla came with wheels to move it and the locking mechanism for adjusting height is easier to use- you turn it and it locks open or locks closed vs the Werner has to be pulled all the way out and to the side. May not seem like a big deal but it is a really nice feature.
Thanks! I was debating between the 14' and 18' version. Now the 18' is $20 cheaper than the 14', which makes it a no brainer. Though this 18' feels much heavier and bulky than the 14' (spec shows only 5lb difference)
Just saw the WERNER 26' on sale today for $160 at my local california HD, ymmv.. Note, app has no mention of it & even shows as out of stock, even though there were several. I didn't buy cause I only need the 22' and that's why I was now checking SD.
