Idk what is considered a gardening glove by definition, but I wouldn't consider this to be one. It's basically thick cloth, so any amount of digging in dirt will get the glove wet and your hands likely somewhat dirty.
It will protect somewhat from dirt, but as mentioned in the other thread, you need that nitrile coating to protect against moisture. I think these will work if someone wants to harvest their veggies, but not great for the planting / prepping garden part.
This will provide zero Thorn protections as mentioned, but I wouldn't expect that from a "garden" glove. Perhaps a landscaping glove (is that a thing? 🤷 ♂️)?
For puncture protection, nitrile coated have worked fine for me to protect against most pokes and splinters, but if I have a thorny bush or something I always prefer leather work gloves
Worth the $4 for a 6 pack for sure, but know what you're getting

I think these are mostly disposable. I wouldn't expect them to last more than 1-3 uses depending on the work and the hours put into them. At the end of the day when you're pulling weeds, $1 a pair is worth it even if you're only using them for an hour or two.
If you want better gloves, get some real leather ones that are somewhat thick. Those could last years, but they cost like $30-50 a pair. Great if you're doing garden work weekly.
