The chocolate in Reese's and Kit Kat's tastes gross ever since 5 or so years back. It's like they changed the formula or something and I bet it was done to save money.

Edit: looked it up and wow they did change the formula https://www.vice.com/amp/en/artic...e-outraged

Didn't notice any difference but nice to know I've been eating less sugar. I eat a lot of KitKat every Halloween

I have no problem with the taste of the new formulation for Kit Kats (and I'm not sure if Reese's changed, I haven't found any solid evidence their recipe shifted noticeably). Butterfingers, however, are nowhere as good as they used to be.

YEEEikes.. Thought I was getting old and my taste buds were going to shit LOL

"But the classic chocolate bar is about to change. Swiss confectionary giant Nestlé announced yesterday that Kit Kats are getting a healthy makeover. In an effort to reduce sugar in its products by 10 percent before 2018, the company will now make Kit Kats with less sugar, but higher amounts of milk and cocoa. It's the first time the original recipe has changed since the chocolate bar was launched in 1936."

Well, Clark Bars seem to be just as good as they always have been! Never any deals on Clark bars.

If there aren't any dates guaranteed, then it's not worth buying from Amazon just to save $5 off MSRP. Nobody wants old, white, moldy milk chocolate.

I'm not surprised. Resse's stopped tasting good a long time ago. It used to be so good growing up

I thought it had something to do with the fact they are now using scabs in Mexico to make them. Truly, one of my favorite mainstream candy tastes like pure garbage now. I guess they achieved their "anti-obesity" goal because I never buy them anymore.

On the good side, I realized I can make a much better one using mixing real peanut butter and decent dark chocolate into a spoon.
