That is the better deal. That is select cut with 7.5 amp hour battery and charger. Other one for 499 is 5ah with no self propelled

I got EGO Power+ LB6151 with 2.5A battery, from Lowes couple months ago on sale for $170. What a joke. 15 minutes runtime total on high. And yes, you want to run it on high in order to blow something, otherwise you will be chasing your fallen leaves one by one if you run it on lower setting. I returned it back. Technology is not there yet.

I have 2, one at home and one in the office. I find it to have plenty of power, it doesn't weigh too much and safer for my wife and kids to use in the yard. My only drawback would be if you didn't have other Ego items. I'm deep in the eco systems, so I have multiple batteries and chargers so I don't run out of juice. A 5 ah battery is nice to have too. I currently have a trimmer, hedge cutter, push lawnmower, chainsaw, backpack blower and snow blower, in addition to these.

Have Stihl gas and Ego 530 electric. Use gas a couple times during fall, use electric every couple days. Unless you can finish most days in 15minutes, you'll want more than one battery. No regrets on the 530 model, haven't needed or tried the newer one.

The blower is great but if you use the turbo setting, the battery dies fast.

I have the back pack blower. It worked great for 4-5 years and quit.

it is VERY weak and underpowered bought and returned it. get the 615 cfm or greater ego blower. LOWE's always puts the cheap blower on sale or in packages
