Probably so. I've always heard the pros say that anything over 24 inches should be 2K or more.

A 27 inch 1080p would be ok if you were sitting further away from the monitor than you would for a 24 inch. But if you were sitting further away you don't want curved. So this monitor really doesn't make any sense.

In 2022, there isn't really a reason to get 27" at 1080p tho. Just get a 24" 1080p if you're gpu can't handle 1440p.

2k is 2048x1080. QHD (2560x1440) would be much better at over 24"

In terms of common resolutions, I knew what he meant.

QHD and 2K are the same thing. And 2048x1080 isn't 2K but in fact fhd+.

I think there might be a preference component here. I just got my first 27" QHD monitor and for anything outside of gaming, I really wish I had 1080p. My monitor sits about 2 feet from my face and reading text is very difficult for me. I know I can just set these to 1080p resolution but that just looks awful.

I had a 27" 1080p monitor for all of one day. I hated it. The pixel density is just too low for my taste. Playing games, images looked like I had no anti-aliasing enabled and text font were not smooth looking. I am running dual 24" @ 1080p sitting about 3 feet from the monitors and everything looks way better.
