I agree. I'm not a huge RAM junkie as I am actually an advanced user who usually can get by with 8GB (IT worker that remotes in) and I also understand, though not condone, soldered i5/8GB/256SSD setups.

An i7-1195G7, though, with soldered 8GB is wasteful and e-waste candidate at its finest. An 11th or 12th gen i5 with 16GB makes 100 times more sense but is proof that manufacturers only are concerned with selling more units.

I think you are confusing OLED with QHD or one of the other abbreviations that means a resolution higher than FHD.

That said, the display on this is probably its biggest selling point. OLED displays are beautiful.

Since the other gentleman already tried to explain it nicely to you and failed; How about you gain some knowledge before running your mouth on a topic you have no idea about?
Even on HP's product page it's listed as OLED, you can have a look at it here: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c07905280. FHD's, QHD, all can be OLED. OLED is a type of panel, an OLED can't be IPS or TN as they're all types of panels. It sure can be FHD.

Next time you try to lecture someone about something, make sure you read up on it first and assess your 2 remaining brain cells before typing and claiming something as "false advertising". Go read up on all that and maybe then we can have a fruitful discussion here.

1195g7 is the highest speed 11th gen quad chip. Same chip as 1165g7 and 1185g7… each a teeny bit faster than the last.

LOW LOW Settings for AAA games if that.

8gb non upgradable really limits the cpu and igpu. Lame. Don't support this ideology by laptop makers… Also, it's slow ram. 🤦 ♂️
