FYI this doesn't support the newest USB-PD PPS standard that newer 2020 and newer Android phone uses (Pixel, Galaxy, etc)

This is fixed PD which is roughly equivalent to a standard Apple 87w charger with fixed PD profiles. Good if you're using it for laptops or phones under than 2020, not so good if you want fast charge phones.

I didn't know you could buy generic charger to charge laptop. I thought you have to charge it through the brick it came in with. My husband work laptop charger died in the past and he couldn't work for days. I only thought of buying a powerful power bank to charge it but it's so expensive ($100?). So is it safe to use these generic ones because it's work laptop so we wouldn't want to jeopardize it? Thanks so much.
Not all laptops support charging through this. Nearly all the newer ones do though, you will need to look up the details of your laptop specifically

Does this have PPS or whatever it's that charges the S22 Ultra?
just use your old 25w charger. Tests shows no difference with new 45w

Could this WARP charge a oneplus 8t( originally comes with a 65w charger) ?
Unfortunately no. Oneplus uses their own proprietary tech for their chargers.

Can this be used on Nintendo Switch?
It appears so. In the description it names Nintendo as a supported brand on the 45w charger.

Excellent deal for the 90w. I picked up the 65w version a few months back when it was around the same $25 price and its been fantastic with my m1 mbp.

For comparison, Apple charges $70+ for an equivalent power brick and no cable is even included.

It's weird that they aren't shipping these but oh well, worth it for local pickup.

I'm still confused besides newer laptops what good is having the 90watt charger?

You can always see it as a usb c charger with some future proofing. The charger can supply 90w but the device regulates the actual draw. So a phone will not max out what the charger can give.

But to answer your question directly, this charger is made primarily for charging things like laptop. Other people are just using it elsewhere. It's like asking "besides driving from point A to point B what is a car good for?"

just did a quick blend test on prime95 so no gpu usage, lenovo legion 5 pro with 3070 5800h. pulled about 94 watts on performance mode and 85 on balanced mode so should be enough for my charging needs for work.
hybrid/mux switch on and refresh rate capped at 60hz. tested on a kill a watt.

This might be useful to someone interested but doesn't make sense to me regarding charging. There's a youtube video titled: "Beware Different OCP Behavior for Insignia 90W vs Original Apple 87W AC Charger" My understanding of it is that there is some scenario where you would need to unplug and replug the Insignia 90W if it hits a certain amp. I'm totally open to being educated in this area on what the gentleman in the video is alluding to.
All this means is that when OCP kicks in with the insignia, you would need to unplug the power brick to reset it. It's not automatic, where it will try again later.

You might think it died and throw it away instead of just unplugging it. I havent read the manual to see if its covered in there.
