I would of bought the Liberty 2 pros but I really want ANC. I have the Q30s that I really like but get quite annoying over a couple of hour plane ride.

They are not so bad, even with the both of the default tips. I have a pair of EarFun Free Pro 2, which are tiny compared to L2P, but they also have a tough interface which I prefer over the button style on the L2P. Once the L3P come in tomorrow, I'll do my comparisons of all three earbuds and make a decision on the L2P and L3Ps.

Yes... ANC from the Earfun Free Pro 2 is actually pretty good when I was driving our loud minivan on a 3,250-mile road trip. The ANC worked well, and I'm sure the L3P will do well, if not better than the EFP2.

The EFP2 with ANC are actually now the same price as when I got them at their November 2021 launch, $57:

The LP3 are definitely smaller than the LP2. I think they sound a little better. The real diff is the ability to stay connected to 2 sources/mullti-point. The case is a bit better on the LP3. I actually don't care about the ANC, but it sounds the same on LP3 and LP2 to me.

I usually like Ankers as a decent backup. Had the Life P2, which was a bit clunky and fell out easily, but worked pretty well. The design on these is hideous. They look so heavy, bulky and uncomfortable. Too expensive for a backup. Better off waiting for a sale on the Jabra Elite 7 Pro. I'll gladly pay an extra $30-50 for those or get something cheaper as a backup, like the new Jaybirds with multipoint.

Ive been using the Liberty Pro 3 for a couple months now.

Pros: fantastic sound quality, comfort (a lot better than Samsung buds +)

Cons: a bit slow to connect and can be inconsistent, fairly short battery life and bad idle power management

The efp2 and the lp3 are my two favorite buds.

Efp2 - comfort, especially if I'm taking them out a lot, and low profile, low latency mode, and just not wanting to be too showy, smaller case

Lp3 - usually what I wear at home for sound quality with ldac
