This is my 2cents..
No - sorry I do NOT recommend these headphones (SC Liberty 3 Pro). I had mine for (2) months and really wanted these to work, I finally exchanged them.

Why no?
- Takes like 5+ seconds for the Bluetooth to connect to my phone (Galaxy S21). I know this is a 1st world problem but for a HP that cost $100+, it should be faster. I use my right HP to talk a lot on and off during the day.
- Then, I've put my HPs back in the case and they DO NOT Disconnect from Bluetooth. This has happened multiple times. Very frustrating and I'm over it - I returned mine. I did call Anker and they said to clean contacts with alcohol and disconnect / reconnect to BT, I did but still no. The problem is, the way the HPs sit in their case, they can be off just a tiny bit and still close. I do NOT want to deal with this for a $100 plus headphones.
- Lastly, sometime I would get the vertigo feeling while using ANC but I don't think these are the HPs fault. I cant ride awesome G-force roller coasters anymore either :/.

I'm curious if anyone can comment on how these Soundcore by Anker Liberty 3 Pro Earbuds compare to the 2nd Generation Apple AirPods?

Specifically, with regards to loudness? Sound quality? Battery life? Bluetooth connectivity? Comfort?

Or how they compare to other similarly-priced earbuds (in the $75-$150 range)?

If anyone would like to reply and share some helpful feedback, that would be very much appreciated.

Also, FYI, they are also available at Walmart for the same $85 price: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Soundc.../643172029

I'll assume you had the app and performed firmware updates?

I've had a set for a number of months and like them overall given the price point and feature set. They have many of the modern features that I like such as being able to connect to my iPhone and iPad at the same time, wireless charging, or pausing when I take an earbud out of my ear.
The noise cancelling is the best among the earbuds in this price range that I have tried, but is not nearly as good as the AirPod pro 2 for ANC.
I also find that they take longer than expected to connect but it hasn't been a big deal for me. The problem with them not disconnecting when I put them back in the case is definitely the most significant problem I have with these. It happens about 20% of the time for me, which I annoying.
They aren't perfect but if you don't like the look/color/cost of the AirPod pros then these are a solid option with better features than many competitors.

How good is the noise canceling? Can it reduce the sound of a riding lawn mower to a safe amount if combined with earpro?

I like Anker Soundcore and have owned like 5 different models over the years, but they ALL have that issue where they don't disconnect when in the case. Drives me nuts.

I've had these for over a year, they are pretty loud and the ANC works great. My problem with these has been the fit, I've never been able to confidently get the fit right with these. I've had a number of other true wireless and haven't had such a struggle. Also the wing part of the ear tip never seems to remain stable. I'm talking just sitting and doing work on my laptop and these can't seem to stay put. I've also experienced the lack of disconnection in the case and more recently, the left earbud doesn't always sit perfectly and doesn't go charged. If I was able to, I'd return them at this point. I got em about a year ago for $90 during the Best Buy sale

Yes, I used the app and had the latest firmware install. As of September 2022 because that's when I exchanged them for something else. I main thing was - a $100 dollar earbud shouldn't have a the problem of disconnecting & I use my buds all the time for talking on the phone & music of course but if the phone rings, 1 bug goes in my ear.

And plus we're all SD'ers and we know about all the other deals that come up... I'm just saying that there are a lot more options for less or more $$ that'd I'd get.

I will second the case issue - biggest flaw in my opinion.

Nice sound but the tips and wings never fit right in any combination. So I could never use them for gym cause the fell out immediately. Using the wf1000 atm with no issue so idk. I wanted to like them

I have had 0 problems with these, sounds like your issues were an anomaly or you got a bad pair. Did you update?
