Don't get the flip, fancy phone, horrible battery life. Fanciness wears off, but day to day battery usage is what matters at the end. Need to charge at least 3 times a day with regular usage

I wish I hadn't bought into the iPhone hype. Lesson learnt. Now I have to wait a year and switch back. Apart from the battery if anyone is considering switching I would recommend you use one for a week.

Seems samsung has too many chips lying around and hence they have discounted a new flagship phone so much. @Samsung, could you pls share some of your extra chips with car companies?
Supposedly, throttling has caused some issues in some markets.

I read the promo details in their website and still don't understand that difference between the $300 and the $500 off requirements.
Don't know but one of the $300 ones says active for 90 days and the $500 one says active for 120 days of service.

You can port in numbers from NVMOs?

Why does the US punish single line users so much?

I don't know if that type of discount is banned in Australia because they run very happily and much cheaper without those line 'discounts'.

Good question. Thinking the same thing. Not sure if you still get the multi-line discount.

Because once you transfer 5 people in the family is a nightmare to get everyone in the room city and go switch careers and get everyone back up and running. This is key because many times families are not physically in the same City.

So they give you discount because once you switch you are likely not to switch away soon.

Yep, at a minimum, you are looking at $410 for the S22:
Discount cost of phone -- $300
Monthly plan, (min $20 x 4 months) -- $80
Tax (assumed 8%) -- $30
