Don't get the flip, fancy phone, horrible battery life. Fanciness wears off, but day to day battery usage is what matters at the end. Need to charge at least 3 times a day with regular usage

I wish I hadn't bought into the iPhone hype. Lesson learnt. Now I have to wait a year and switch back. Apart from the battery if anyone is considering switching I would recommend you use one for a week.

No I specifically tried to do that last year... Note the terms say "120 CONSECUTIVE days" ie you must leave the Fi sim in the samsung for 120 days non-stop to satisfy the credit requirements. I tried swapping out for a day one time and it reset the consecutive counter 🙃

The preorder deal was 400$ off with 150$ Fi credit after 120 days and free upgrade to 256gb so total was 650$

It gets touchy since the Fi app might trigger something... In theory yes as long as you don't put the Fi sim in another device, but wouldn't plan on using the Samsung for 4 months while the Fi sim just chills not being used (unless anyone else has experience that this worked for them)

Eh? I'm no expert but I use google calendar for my calendar, google keep for my notes, and google reminders (through google assistant) for reminders and it all syncs together automatically and thoughtlessly. Even syncs with my google home devices which I use for those things more often than the phone itself.

I have an extra line from a T-Mobile "Free line on us" a while back. I don't use the line at all but still keep it active since it's free. Would this single line be ok to migrate over or will it fark up the rest of my phone plan?
