Don't get the flip, fancy phone, horrible battery life. Fanciness wears off, but day to day battery usage is what matters at the end. Need to charge at least 3 times a day with regular usage

I wish I hadn't bought into the iPhone hype. Lesson learnt. Now I have to wait a year and switch back. Apart from the battery if anyone is considering switching I would recommend you use one for a week.

GOS was a real issue with the S22 series. And it's still a PR nightmare for Samsung with the class action suits and all. The problem with this article is that it didn't include all the information from the original Korean article when translated, written as if the customers could get the discounts outright. The subsidies are pretty common in Korea, and the amount changes every day. However, customers can never get the advertised price without an expensive plan when there's a higher than usual subsidy. So far, the sales are not much affected, and the S22 series are selling much faster than the S21 series. I do not doubt that we'll see many Samsung deals every month, but I wouldn't expect some kind of fire sale for the S22 series.

Ordered white one for my group, have some credits that will help pay off the monthly fees. Will most likely resell this phone and keep the S21 I got for 300 from previous deal judging by looking at that throttle fiasco. I also think us new S22 owners may get the recall or class action from this to make the discount even better lol!

The "throttle fiasco" goes back several years including the S21, S20, etc. It just never gained traction until this year. You will also be included in the class action lawsuit if one is filed in the US. Your S21 throttles too unless it detects you're trying to run a benchmark, in which case it un-throttles.

Dang! I have the S20, S21, and S22. I wouldn't have bought the S22 if I knew about the throttling. Not cool, Samsung!
