Don't get the flip, fancy phone, horrible battery life. Fanciness wears off, but day to day battery usage is what matters at the end. Need to charge at least 3 times a day with regular usage

I wish I hadn't bought into the iPhone hype. Lesson learnt. Now I have to wait a year and switch back. Apart from the battery if anyone is considering switching I would recommend you use one for a week.

Why would you move to Tmobile? Isn't Google Fi the same service for less money?

Are the shipping estimates accurate? It's telling me mid-may for the green S22 128gb. I saw a few pages back people were getting them much faster. Has stock gotten low or did people that got them faster have an estimate that was a month out too?

How long did your port-out/port-in process take? My experience with other carriers have been really quick.. sometimes instantaneous... but this one seems taking a while..

I chose the port and such, and placed the order just now for a 256 S22U. The confirmation email I just received says the following which confuses me.

Financing: You're paying over time for Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra (256GB, Phantom White) (1). You'll have 24 monthly payments of $54.17.
You have the option to make payments or pay at 1 shot. I chose the pay up front option. Now that you have been in the payment option, I guess you can contact Google Fi to change that.

I think you don't even need to switch the Google account but that would be safer :-)

The key from what I have read here is not to put the G Fi sim in a different phone.

I believe your Physical Sim is Google Fi Sim? Is there a way to turn off data for Google Fi Sim, while keeping the eSIM (with another carrier) fully active with data? Thanks.
Yes, look at the sim card manager section of the phone.

Really that is very strange as I know you can try us mobile if your phone has eSim. Maybe only for IPHONE right now...
