Yes.. phone are unlocked out of the box. But, remember, if you dont keep the fi active for 120 days, you need to pay the original price
If I plugged in a different sim, can I restart the 120day clock by plugging fi sim again?

No if you plug the SIM in a different phone then the clock restarts.... That is what I read from people here who have done that before.

You can chat with google Fi tech support to find out why it failed the port. They seem to be available 24/7.

Thanks for your reply. I decided to return it to avoid further trouble. Seems not a good company to deal with

Anyone knows if 120 days requirement still count if I travel abroad? (still turn on roaming/Wi-Fi calling).

If port-in is required, would this offer work for current Mint Mobile users? Since both use T-Mobile towers, would port-in from Mint work?

Are we allowed to use a textnow number and port that in? Or does it have to be a number from a mobile carrier?

Does anyone know if we can port in using a free Textnow number? Or if anyone has done it already?

Is Google-Fi service on the S22 delivered by e-SIM?
I am planning to use a nano-SIM from another provider and also use Google-Fi via e-SIM. Appreciate if anyone can answer.

More importantly is the IMEI on the order number Google FI account same as what you physically have received?
Never mind, didn't realize I ordered the black for some reason. I must have waited on the white one and changed my mind.

Strange the way ordering to shipping time is so different for individuals. Mine has been right on the projected time. Here are my details:

Ordered S22 128GB Black on April 16.
Initial Delivery Estimate April 24-26
Received Shipped Notice on April 20
Expected Delivery April 26.

You're also technically saving money that way too. It costs $3 to unlock a GV number before you can port it.
Ok thanks! So, other than need to pay $3 to unlock (vs maybe free for other options), there is no issue porting GV number that was newly created to qualify for this deal correct?

Yeah no other issue. I ported my GV for the pre-order promo.
