I ordered the S22 green while signing up, and still don't have it. Just got a message from Google Fi reminding me to activate my service, and that I have to do it within 30 days or I'll lose the promo.

I might not have the phone within 30 days. Do I just activate the service on my current phone (Galaxy Note 10) and then switch to the S22 when it gets here? Will that screwup the promo if I'm not activating on the S22?

EDIT: Just spoke with support, they said 30 day timer doesn't start until you receive the phone.
just wait till you try to port a number as the other requirement. then the fun begins

Think these phones can only utilize one physical SIM card at a time.

Don't think Google Fi supports e-SIM in these Samsungs. Don't know if any US carrier does.

The google Fi has to go to the physical sim slot and the eSim is for other services. You can use the sim card manager to disable or enable a sim card or both....

I found something strange is that even with the Fi sim card being disabled and the google Fi app is uninstalled, when someone calls that number on the disabled sim, the phone still rings and connects like the Sim is enable... :-)
The data usage is 0gb so I am not concern there. Also the signal it does say Fi and other service available at the same time .... nod

Do I have to be in the US the whole 120 days? Can I travel to other country? Or, if I cannot change country, can I just keep the phone off while I'm away from the US?

Also, when checking out I need to specify a phone number I'm trying to port in, is it possible to change the port in phone number afterwards (when I'm actually porting the phone number)?

Yes, you can enter one phone number when ordering and change it to another while activating and porting in when you receive the phone. That's what I did. There is a box at the start of the Port in process that shows the first number you provided. Just delete and enter the new Number.

Anyone know if Google's shipping estimates are usually accurate? I have a white 256gb S22 on order - the order details originally said it should be here between 5/18-5/20, but now it's showing 5/11-5/13.

(I keep checking it every day, as if that would make it go faster)

Unfortunately they're not always reliable. My green 256gb S22's delivery dates changed a dozen times and I had no idea in the end when it was going to ship until a day before it actually shipped. I only knew it was shipping because my CC was charged the day before. I still checked every day too lol.

Are green ones generally on shipping hold the longest? Note: a 2-3 week delay for me would actually be ideal

well for your reference I ordered it on April 9 it shipped on Apr 12, was suppose to delivery on Apr 15 and it never show up.. call multiple time to Fedex/Fi Fedex finally declare they lost the phone so now I need to wait for resent

Apparently there's a lot of Fedex issue,,,if you check reddit.

P.S> people keep complaining about Fi support I have zero problem get them to call me back and they do response pretty quick on my issue. It took 48 hours after Fedex confirmed that the package is lost and they let me know they will send me a replacement one.

I just got my trade in rejected and was wondering if anyone else had similar issue:
Phone: iPhone 11 I got from Total wireless... almost new.

>We've had a look at your phone, and its value doesn't match the original estimate.
>As you previously requested, we'll send your phone back to you because its value $320.00 turned out to be less than the trade-in estimate $320.00.
>You can expect to receive your phone in 10 or fewer business days.

I wonder when $320 does not equal $320 Smilie

I can do this, right? Get a new number from boostmobile for $0.99 (first month) and port in to this before the first month ends? Pay google $20+tax for 4 months for the basic plan and cancel afterword's, correct?

so, approx. total cost for unlocked s22 would be 1+300+80 = 381 + taxes. Math right?

Your math is right. Taxes are your local sales tax on $300 and several people reported $5 tax for each month's $20 plan.
