Just prepaid 2 google fi bill for $50, plain snd simple you can prepaid once you activate your line.
Some posters on Doctor of Credit say prepaying might not have the right coding to get the Amex credit. One says prepaying is coded as "Google Services" without the word Fi in the merchant's name. Just thought I bring it up.

Monthly price for the Flexible plan varies depending on the number of people in your plan:
- 1 person: $20
- 2 persons: $18 each
- 3 to 4 persons: $17 each
- 5 to 6 persons: $16 each

Will AMEX offer work for the phone purchase? Say, before I make the purchase, prepay my Google Fi account with 3 x $50 payment (for 3 x $25 AMEX offer back).

I used to be Fi customer, but I cancelled back in last April. That's why I still have Fi Account...

1st bullet says you have to be a new customer.

You must be a new Fi customer. A new Fi customer is someone who has never had Fi service or someone whose last day of Fi service took place more than 180 days before making a purchase with this promotion

Is it easy to port using GV? Just input your GV # to port in?

i ordered the Boost Mobile 0.99 deal for port but after hearing stories about how hard it is to port out (multiple failed attempts, hours on phone etc) i am still looking for better options to port out. GV seems dicey to me. thinking of tracfone maybe for $10. anyone port from tracfone?

you need to call Boost to get the pin and there's a diff phone number I found that or reddit go search there, some were saying the PIn was 123456 but didn't work

I know but given many reports of it still not working and other company having to call boost to manually do it, not sure the below par fi cust service will be able to do that. Can't risk the $500 for $10. Do you know if we have an option of changing port-in number at time of activation (diff from one entered during ordering)
