- You must be a new Fi customer. A new Fi customer is someone who has never had Fi service or someone whose last day of Fi service took place more than 180 days before making a purchase with this promotion.
- To qualify for the full $500 discount, you need to:
- Activate the phone on a new full service plan (data-only SIMs do not qualify) within 30 days of the shipment confirmation email and keep the qualifying phone active on Google Fi for 120 consecutive days.
- You must activate on the same Fi account used to purchase the phone or be a new member of the purchaser's group plan.
- You must also bring/transfer your number to Fi within 30 days of the shipment confirmation email. Fi-to-Fi number transfers are not eligible.
- The discounted price will automatically apply during checkout. If you do not meet the conditions above, $500 will be charged to your Google Pay account.

1. It appears the jury is still out on whether or not the phone purchase itself will trigger the AmEx credit?
(I've seen here and on reddit that $50 plan prepayments have worked - transaction posts as 'GOOGLE *GOOGLE FI G.CO/HELPPAY# CA' [link [reddit.com]]). I guess nobody will know until their phone orders ship and cards are charged, but if people who purchased phones before the AmEx offer popped up can confirm the transaction descriptions that might give a strong indication either way).
2. I plan to use my Google Voice # to port into Fi (pay $3 to unlock GV # first), then after the 120 days obligation is met (hoping $25 back on phone purchase, 2 x $25 back on 2x $50 prepayments to cover 4 months of service) port my Fi number back into Voice. I've seen some people recommend to others to create a new GV #, but does porting an existing GV # into Fi count for the port-in requirement? Seems like porting from Fi back to GV is a straightforward process (Google support page [google.com]).

I was just a bit curious since some people have been doing things like transferring their existing GV numbers to other Google accounts, then creating new GV numbers to port to Fi for this promo.
Since I don't plan to stay with Fi moving in and out with my GV # is a safe bet. Just $3 to unlock the GV # and no charge to port it from Fi back to GV.

I ordered S22 green 128gb on Apr 11
Original deliver date was Apr 20 ~ 22
Since couple of days ago, its been pushed out by 1 day everyday. Now it says Apr 24 ~ 26
Contacting support only repeats what I see on screen and they cannot escalate because the delivery date is known even though its pushed out everday.
I ordered 1 on April 21 and was estimated May 17-19, and I go travel in May 21. So if you still haven't received yours, it better for me to cancel.
