Do not buy on switch. I know it's cheap. It has all sorts of issues you can find with only a casual review. It's unplayable for any length of time.

This was free on Epic Games in late Feb, I almost bought it myself before I remembered. If you missed it, Epic tends to repeat some games as well so it could come back.

PS4 is also $9.99 which looks to be a solid price. I read about slow loading times in general for the game though, PS4 should in theory be better than Switch though.

I completed the game on Switch. Loading times definitely suck. Wouldn't say completely unplayable, but definitely rough. If you are interested in the game and all you have is Switch, it will be fine to get it for Switch

I was able to price match at BestBuy.com through chat for Nintendo Switch.
Im glad I was able to avoid the "used games sold as new" format from Lamestop

It is (or was) on GamePass. I played a few hours of it on there and, yes, the load times are not stellar—at least they weren't on an Xbox One S with it physically installed (not streamed).

However, I thought it was a nice homage what RPGs used to be, so I picked it up at $20 about a week later. I figure that it provided that much entertainment for me and this team needs my $20 more than EA does.
