I've tried the T248 PS5/PC in Forza Horizon 5 on PC. There's steering force feedback, but NO force effect like bumpy road and crash. Does anyone know must it be T248 Xbox/PC version, or the Forza Horizon 5 not support the effect?

I have both the t300rs crapped out at the beginning of the pandemic. Wheel board failure caused it to loose a ffb. I have this now it's not as responsive and wheels can't be replaced. FFB isn't as strong either. If you can get the t300rs from a place that is an authorized retailer I would go that route instead. This wheel feels cheap because they only half wrapped the wheel in leather. Under hard cornering you can feel the gears doesn't feel as realistic. The wheel paddles on this are loud af too. Only advantage of this wheel is it has a small LCD. Not like anyone looks down at their wheel while driving in a race. Hit me up if you have anymore questions about the two wheels. Also I hate the dammed pedals it only comes with 2 mounting holes so as soon as you slam on the brakes the plastic platform lifts up.

If i were to decide right now to get into racing gaming and buy this, what current games can I use it with and is there anything else I need to buy if I already have a high end gaming PC setup? And finally, is it worth it? Racing games is a genre I never dipped my toes into, seems like a lot of differing opinions out there on what's good and what games these work well with.

Dang the T300 (better wheel than this one) use to always go on sale for for $200ish pre-pandemic. I should of snagged one up back then, but now I only see the T300 for $400+ now and I believe it's an 8 year old wheel. Crazy

I snagged one at that $200 price but the wheel died on me on the 3rd week and had returned it to Amazon. They didn't have a replacement so I went with the Logitech g29. Even one of the owners posted about it on this thread had one die on him too. I am interested in this deal, but I think i'll wait longer for wheels to be refined. I wish Logitech would release a wheel that is belt (or even half) driven.

Adorama and BH still have T300 RS GT at $400 if someone wants a better wheel.
IMO, it's due for a redesign, either the entry level T248 or the higher level TGT II has more buttons for customization and even T248 has a much better pedals.
However, I think they would just phase out T300 for T248 and focus on the coming direct drive wheel.
