Not sure what others are paying, but our supermarket in NJ regularly has (must buy) 5 cans of this for anywhere from $4 to $6. This week is $5.

I would be concerned how long it takes us to eat 24 cans and then the expiration date.

The tstat at Amazon FCs is set to 78F and it gets considerably hotter than that within the mods. Couple that with the fact that these are short-dated to begin with and I would be really weary about eating that tuna,

I'm really worried about running into someone who's recently eaten 24 cans of tuna - it must surely lead to breath to be reckoned with.

We pay 75 cents a can all the time so this is no deal for us.

Worse than short-dated. Canned tuna has an expiration date about 2-3 years out. This has been sitting in the warehouse for two years!

Where in NJ? Which supermarket? I cannot remember the last time I saw solid white albacore tuna fish at this price. Thanks!

Short-dated as in nearing its expiration - and yeah the longer the shelf-life the more weary I am about short-dated products. I'm not buying any Mountain House Beef Stroganoff that expires in July 2022 because it means it's probably been sitting there since 2012. :x
