I've got the 150k offer, but I also have a schwab account. Anyway to get the 150 with the schwab card?
EDIT: seeing this,

I already have an American Express Card. Can this Card be converted into the American Express Platinum Card® for Schwab? No. You will need to apply and be approved for a new American Express Platinum Card® for Schwab account.
If you're stuck at 100k or 125k, I checked my referral offer last week and it was 150k points, plus 10x points on restaurants for the first 6 months.
For anyone wondering if it's worth it, I've had the card for years and it more than pays for itself.
Free Walmart+ ($155)
Free Shoprunner ($79)
Streaming Credit (up to $240)
Saks 5th Ave Credit ($100)
Airline Credit ($200) (This IS a way to apply this to fares)
Uber/Uber Eats ($200)
Hotel Credit ($200)
Clear ID ($179)
Global Entry ($20) ($100 over 5 years)
On top of that there's all the other perks, like lounge access, hotel upgrades, insurance for renteal cars/trucks, etc. etc. etc. that are harder to put a fixed dollar value on.
wow so tempted ... $200 hotel credit, $400 airline credit, Free Walmart plus, Free Disneyplus bundle, $100 Sakfith, and 150K point for premium cabin travel...
Some of those are not as valuable as similar offers provided by others. The $200 hotel credit is only on a 2 night prepaid stay booked through AMEX travel at "The Hotel Collection". The airline credits - I only show $200 - are also only on "incidentals" - good if you pay for incidentals (baggage fees, onboard food), but not good towards plane tickets which would be easier to use.
Potentially useful is the $15/month on Uber/UberEats if you use those services plus the CLEAR credit if you do travel.
150k pts is $1650 in cash with a Schwab card (potentially far more if used for certain travel)
Plus you get a slew of credits (of varying degree of usability) worth many hundreds of dollars more, most of which you can double-dip since they're calendar year based.... plus access to the best airport lounges around (though be aware you stop getting free guest access in Feb 2023 unless you spend a TON on the card)
For most folks this isn't a long-term keeper card (unless either you fly a lot out of a home airport with a centurion and you can get most of the value out of even the weirder monthly credits) but it's certainly highly profitable as a signup/holding for a year.... (sometimes a second depending if retention is offering anything decent- though the loss of free guests will ding that some)
totally agree. did you transfer to an airline\hotel rewards program?

"Airline Credit ($200) (This IS a way to apply this to fares)" how?
"Hotel Credit ($200)" through their portal only, correct?

What is the process for using or redeeming points with a Schwab card? Unfamiliar with that
Edit: nevermind, I didn't realize there was a specific Schwab Platinum card that gives a 1.1x redemption rate. Good to know. thanks.

You forgot $300 equinox. Although $300 is only like a month and a half membership lol.
How come no one has pointed out you have to spend 6k in the first 6 months to get the 150k points? That's a lot of spend.

it seems the real draw of the card is transferring these 150k points to a miles program which may exceed 3k in travel value. while the 1.1 is nice and you still come out ahead even with the fee, it's nothing crazy.

I'm in the same boat, but getting through Schwab is better than the extra 50k points, imo. Schwab gives 100k and depending on your deposits gives up to a $200 annual credit along with all the other benefits and higher redemption.
I screenshot my 150k offer and was going to see if Schwab card division would match but it's doubtful. The Schwab card portal is currently down for me, so I haven't tried.

How is Schwab better? You are giving up 50k points (or $500) to pay an annual fee of $495 ($695-$200) versus $695. You'd have to hold for 3 years before coming out ahead with the Schwab card (minus the extra 10% bonus redemption you get with schwab). Not worth it for most unless you are spending heavily to get the extra 10%.
If I ever had a card randomly canceling on me this would be AMEX. They let me keep my points but never ever had a card being so finicky. They did it twice in the past 20 years.

Stop with your manufactured spending nonsense around here. We don't want to hear about it. Go to flyertalk where it belongs.
