Same here. Surface tile is damaged. Quite an ugly scar. Probably that's why these are on sale. Price match from local store now seems like a better option. Although picking and moving a 150lb box will be a challenge
Doubt that. How would HD know without opening each and every box? Mine was perfect as have many been for others. Just exchange it at your local store.
I haven't yet since I didn't have any on hand. I just lit it up with a bbq lighter. Will get some shortly and test it out.
Oh ok. I wasnt sure if it came with batteries or we have to put them in cause I pushed the button and nothing happened. It seems kind hard to get the ignitor battery box to open up from the bottom once it's assembled. Wish I knew to check before assembling it haha.
Mines been sitting in town since the 18th according to my tracking. Delivery has been rescheduled every day since then. It was scheduled for the 27th so I'm wondering if they're waiting until then to deliver.

You don't need to open the igniter box. The black starter button twists off and you insert the battery there.
I know this is an old thread, but does anyone know if this still works for the selected store?
Definitely dead deal. I had mine delivered about 2.5 weeks ago. It's back to $449. The $229 price was actually live for pretty long, at least 4-5 days.

Just under 9 hours at high setting. Just Google how many BTU's a 20lb tank has and divide by 50k. Lower the output the longer it'll last.

Did you have to put batteries in the ignitor? My ignitor isn't doing anything lol

Just figured it out, the battery goes right behind the ignitor button. You have to unscrew the button and remove to insert battery. Easy enough.
