At $30 each, these are by far the best value available for a 5-position backpack beach chair. There is no way that these are multiple times the price of any similar beach chair.

Bought 2 of these on clearance last Sept. for $20.00 each in store. If you don't need them right away, hold off for a couple of months and you can probably pick them up cheaper.

Are these wildly better quality than other beach chairs? I've seen them/sat in them and have always felt you're paying multiple times the price for the branding

If the frames for these chairs are made of sturdy aluminum this is a good deal. If made from ferrous material, they will quickly rust if used in coastal environments. Does anyone know if the metal in these chairs is aluminum?

Used these and the umbrella at a Hyatt vacation resort last week while in Cabo. They held up great in the deep heavy sand. Picked up the umbrella with anchor today and might pick up these chairs also as they work great.

I picked up two chairs of the same design but different brand last year in the fall for $10 each, I think from Dick's.

These types of chairs are great and don't take up too much trunk space. Ive collected many types of camping/beach chairs over the years and this style is by far my favorite. The backpack straps are great because it frees up your hands to carry other things.

If you wait a little later in the season, you'll find better deals. Not a big fan of these colors but to each their own.

After breaking two corroded standard beach chairs, I purchased my first one of these several years ago. It endured several Florida summers with heavy use (frequency and body weight of 250) then finally started to separate. I only replaced because of walking past the $30 deal at Costco and would never go back to a conventional style nor spend any more for one with similar functionality (cooler, storage, straps, fold flat).
