I picked this one up today. I bought the target $270 deal and wanted something similar. I purchased the Staples one for $350 that has been popular lately and then I happened to check Target and came across this and happy I found it. It's more than the Staples one but definitely worth it and with enough upgrades to justify the higher price from the $270 deal. Also it makes me happier about the purchase as it makes up for some of the Staples one's shortcomings(that one is okay too but the screen is pretty bad)

Notable specs:

i3 1125g4 Processor
8gb 3200mhz ram (2 slots upgradable)
256gb nvme
15.6 FHD IPS anti-glare, micro edge screen
Backlit Keyboard
1 SuperSpeed USB Type-C, 2 SuperSpeed USB Type-A, 1 Headphone/microphone combo, 1 HDMI

It doesn't have the rj45 like the Staples one and it doesn't have Wifi 6 either. So those are drawbacks but I think the IPS and Backlit keyboard make up for it. It also supposedly comes with Windows 10 s-mode which is a plus for me as I have no interest in 11 but I can't confirm as I didn't even go through the installations. I just put in a different drive that has Linux Mint XFCE on it.. Which btw for all the Linux people seems to work well(but I'm a beginner) The only issue seems to be that when it gets to the login screen, there is a bit of a delay before you can start typing. This happens on the 14" one as well but didn't happen on the Staples one for some reason... Anyway, I'll check back to answer any other questions may have..

Two other things that may be of interest. If you have a Discover card, Target is a 5% cash back category until June. Also, the 8gb ram it comes with is one stick and the second slot is empty.

According to the spec here [microcenter.com] it has only 1 RAM slot, with 8GB.

That's strange, it could just be listed wrong. I mean I'm going by what I saw. I opened it up and added a stick of ram. It was one 8gb stick it came with(which was actually 3200mhz even though it said 2666mhz on the Target page) and an empty slot.

It's showing $540 for me. This YMMV?
