I paid $300 for a Dell 4 months ago that went FP. Same CPU, but only 4GB of RAM and 128GB SSD. No backlit keyboard, no USB-C.

For the extra 50 bucks, you get a lot here. Not sure who downvoted this, come on people.

Usually a bunch of reasons:

It's only an i3
Screen likely crap quality (not IPS, low nits and colors, etc)
No USB-C charging

Among other things.

But the 1125G4 has solid specs, equal scores to the corresponding I5 with slightly less graphics capability.

Reason 4, unrealistic people want an i7 for $200 and expect it to cook dinner for them

I have the 14" version of this. The screen is just fine. It is plenty fast. I see little need for a more powerful CPU. I guess Windows update would be a bit faster but that is rare to need to do. The last Windows update was faster on my Desktop than this.

It says IPS panel on the specs. This is the same exact machine in the 15.6" version that Costco had on sale for $350 in the 14" version (no numeric keypad).

More information in the last sale thread last October. It is highly unusual for Target to sell a Windows 10 laptops as regular, in-store stock (instead of leftover or clearance stock like Best Buy would) even though Windows 11 upgrade is free.

Core i3-1125G4, 4 cores
8GB DDR4-2666 (1x8GB) (i3-1125G4 actually supports DDR4-3200)
15.6" FHD, IPS, micro-edge, anti-glare, non-touch, 250 nit, 45% NTSC
Realtek 801.ac 2x2, BT 5, SD card reader
1x USB-C, 1x USB-A, HDMI 1.4b (someone reported HDMI 2.0), 1 audio, 720p cam
41Wh battery, 45W AC adapter with coax DC-out, up to 7.5h mixed usage, 9.25h video
14.11 x 9.53 x 0.71", 3.75 lbs
