I did check about an hour ago and it seems to have gone out of stock. I'm not sure how much stock Amazon would have for this item at this time, so the only thing I would do is check back once in a while. It's a new product that's sold at a discount so I'd imagine a number of people jumped on this quickly.

This is true, but this is a new lens that can be ordered for a small chunk off retail price right now. It should be of particular interest to anyone using a Sony camera looking for a 135mm F1.8, where the alternatives have been the Sony GM and the adapted Sigma ART lens until now.

The Sony 135mm 1.8 GM was $1668 during the holidays with an edu discount. Waiting for that price to come back.
