If you have a 12" non stick pan it's bottom will be closer to 10" than 12" because it's measured from the top that tapers out. BUT it's also probably already in your house. The slickest deal is using what you have.

We regularly make crepes in our all-clad non stick using the all-recipes crepe recipe (with a little extra milk). You tilt the pan and wait for the batter to cover the pan, needs the extra milk to be runny enough for this to work.

This product might be nice if you're going to a hotel and want to make your own breakfast.

That doesn't make sense. The promoted stuff is always sold by a third-party with a coupon attached. This is sold by Amazon. Why do you think this is a promotion scam?

This looks to be a crepe maker. Don't think it's a pan substitute or intended to be. Don't know a whole lot about making crepes but I don't think you'd be that successful making them in a pan. Even states in title crepe maker and comes with the wooden spatula and spreader.

You are right. Shows how little I know about crepes! I guess it all depends on how you prefer to make them, pan, electric griddle, cast iron pan, flat top griddle, etc. Many ways to make them.

I own something similar. This is terrific for making crepes. The non stick requires nothing. in fact, the directions explicitly states not to use any non stick methods. The crepes slide right off. Super fast to clean. Just gently wipe with a damp cloth. The wood stick is fun and gives you that street feeling. I love the larger size as I use to use the smaller dipping version that made 6inch. I haven't used it for anything besides crepes, but I don't see why you couldn't make an omelet or whatever. I'll save the bacon making for my pans for the fat seasoning.

You mean how to bake bacon?
Cooked in water would be very soggy.
