I may or may not work for one of the contractor style delivery providers. We're currently testing tipping only payment for orders in certain cities of the US.

If an order has a certain amount of TIP attached to it, the tip will be the full payout only, and we will not be providing additional payment. We will only provide payment on orders where the tip doesn't cover the full order or only a small tip was added, in both cases we will then supplement from our side.

Here's the kicker, we will not be lowering our fees that we charge to the customer or the fees that we charge the business for processing the orders on our platform. So we're essentially taking advantage of the tipping culture to cover delivery, and we're pocketing what we would have paid in today's model.

We have spent millions on marketing "to tip" our drivers, so we can then remove our compensation from the system and make it tips only.

i have cash card setup with bank account linked. do i still need to manually add cash in the app before i can use the card? or is it automatically drawn from the bank like a debit card?

I just did it. You have to add it. Plus be sure to look at the amount of the order because the authorization amount is greater.

Let's say I just bought an air fryer at Costco yesterday. If I were to use this, and return the new one (set the other one up already) with the old receipt, would it work?

GoPro Hero 9 Black bundle is listed for 262.97 on Instacart where as it's 389.99 on Costco online. After 50$ discount it comes down to 212.97 + tax + tip

Yes, after you make the purchase the 30% is immediately deposited into your cash app balance which if you want you can immediately put back in your bank account.

Was in the market for the Oculus 2 bundle which was marked up $5 from the normal price so with the discount/instacart express saved a decent amount from regular price + tax.
