NM is not wet rated, most low voltage landscape wire is also stranded

You need an accessable junction box to splice.

Thanks! Paid $1 per foot in a pinch a few months back. Got enough to finish the project.

Thanks and repped. Picked up 3 for little over $20 using locker pick up. I needed these for a project that I'm currently doing so perfect timing. Paid about $30 for one a few month ago. Needed it.

Thanks. Ordered 5. These are generally pricey.

In addition to not being rated for burial, most landscape lights connect to the wire via push-pins that pierce through the rubber sheathing of the low voltage wire.

Besides the low voltage wire is cheaper.

Could this be used in a garage with wires exposed? No drywall/not finished/no conduit. I'm renting but would like to wire a few lights up

Yes. Just make sure your garage doesn't have any leaks.

Why need 6? Might as well get the 250 ft at 50c/ft at home depot if you need them professionally, the 25' is for hobbyists / small projects, less tradesmen

Um cause this is 14% cheaper and they might not have longer than 25 foot runs? Never mind not needing the other 100 feet/ $44

14% cheaper? Have you considered the waste from the copper scrap if you had one vs 6 rolls? I understand buying 25' for a small project but if you need to buy 6 you might as well buy a more suitable pack than trying to save 14% without calculating waste
