Is SteelSeries a famous brand in gaming keyboard? why is that at so high price, unlike Redragon, HyperX, Razer and Fiodio
Yes, SteelSeries makes a lot of high end gaming peripherals. Pretty quality stuff made to last and generally great reviews.

Only the alphabet key are adjustable
The main board of 61 keys are all adjustable actuation. The remaining keys outside of that are SteelSeries Red.

Just ordered through Adorama, got tired of the BB bullcrap. The reps were straight up lying that they didn't see the price update in the cart. I've never had an issue with Adorama and I don't exactly need the keyboard right this second.
Tried to get a price match with three different BB CSRs but they all refused to honor the price in the shopping cart and only quoted the price on Adorama's main page. They also didn't accept the Slickdeals link and all wanted to see the Adorama link. I finally gave up since I don't need a new keyboard right away. I actually have a Ducky Shine 7 with Cherry MX Silent Red keys on order but the ETA keeps getting pushed out and it would certainly arrive after this keyboard from Adorama. Now I'm wondering if I should cancel the Ducky and get this one from Adorama instead.

Lights go bonkers on it and I have to keep resetting it (only fix they tell you) to get it to work again for another month. Never again.

I currently have a ducky shine 3 and various key caps have broken, although I am gentle with it. It has brown switches and I put o rings on it to help with noise. Anyone know how difficult it will be to move from my ducky to this keyboard with the switch change? I have come to like my browns and worried I wont like these red equivalents. Thoughts?

Isn't there a wireless TKL version of steelseries apex pro. I loved the keyboard in Best Buy but done with the wires & clutter specially with keyboards & mice. I keep seeing this wired version but never a wireless version. Same thing happened with the Razer couple weeks back…wonder why all the deals on wired keyboards only…

Ive had mine for almost 3 months with no issue. One pretty minor issue, that is purely anecdotal, shouldn't be cause for feeling "never again" towards an entire brand, especially when there are countless things that could have caused the issue, from a poor USB connection, to software interference, to luck of the draw and getting a unit that slipped thru QA, etc etc etc. NO product has a 100% rate of being flawless. No product ever in the history of humanity.

There is less latency over wired.

This is a keyboard focused on gaming, although anyone can use it effectively for anything else.

Plus, there might be frequency interference over the wireless spectrum. Again, aimed at gaming, nobody gaming wants to press a key and wait 80ms for it to fit within someone else's chatter on the spectrum.

Spent $175 for it and I read that others have the same issue. Maybe I got a bad one but my issue is how they handled it. Clearly it can be fixed with a software patch. Anything that is fixed for a month with a hard reset could be worked around with a patch even if they did nothing but allow you to hard reset it via a set of key presses or in the software. Having to physically disconnect the keyboard is not easy for everyone especially if your case is located in a tight space.

So for a $175 keyboard I do expect more than a "did you unplug it and plug it back in again"

The kicker is that if I uninstall the software the issue never happens but then my $175 keyboard is nothing but a standard dumb mechanical keyboard. So this is why I am convinced it is a software issue and yes I did reinstall the OS (win 11) and it did not fix it.
