I just bought a geek squad refurb of these Samsung drives. It's obvious some people are buying and returning these drives after beating them to death.

This one I just received from BB had over 200 TB already written and read from it

I just got the 2tb one from last week and it was a 970 evo with heavy use already throwing smart errors that someone had swapped a 980 sticker onto.

Had a similar situation about a month ago with a 1TB deal. They swapped the sticker of a beat to death 970 EVO and it was only 500GB.

Don't like the refurbish part, c'mon, refurbish an SSD? You've been watching too many " Fantastic Beasts" movies.
I bought the Pro 980 2TB not refurb. about a year ago and it is great, loads Far Cry 6 and MS FS2020 in seconds, running great.

Not a great price since you can get a brand new for $20 more. I would bite for $100 refurbush
