Costco has the Seagate 8TB hard drive for $119.99 after $50 off.
You can get this for $83 if you follow this post using same day delivery. However if you already used up your extra $50 off, this is also a really good price. (My brother reminded me its a good idea to have a backup of the backup in case one fails, so i did buy two of these).

Features:
Two Integrated High-speed USB 3.0 ports
Formatted for Windows Computers Out of the Box
Works with Windows and Mac Computers without Reformatting
Schedule an Automatic Backup Plan with Included Seagate Backup Software
Includes 3 Years of Rescue Date Recovery Services

Thanks for posting this OP. I did get this item for $83 from the other Slickdeal same-day delivery post that was already linked by OP. But I like to get them in pairs so I can remove data off my computer completely AND have a backup. I was wondering if I could just get another one online without having to drive into the store to pick up a 2nd drive, and am happy to find the online price (for non-same day) is the same as in-store.

For those keeping data on their computers, having just one backup drive to back up the computer is fine (so 2 copies total). But if you're moving your only copy of data to a backup drive to clear up space on your computer, I suggest another backup drive as well so that you always have at least 2 separate copies. Having 2 of the exact same drives/model is more convenient since their device software will generally allocate space similarly.

I have this. The backup for a backup is a great idea but it's amazing how many people believe it's just ok to have one backup

I have one that just died after 6 months of use, currently trying to get Seagate to warranty it. It has an internal 3.5" Segate Compute 5400RPM SMR drive.

Apologies if I'm missing something obvious - how does the $50 discount linked in the other thread work?
I can see the Easter code but don't have a promo code slot using Costco Same Day Delivery, and the promo code isn't working on Costco.com proper.
Has the bonus from the linked thread expired in the time since the post was made?
