Going by T-Mobile's recent promos, you will probably need to have Magenta Max if you expect a deal. If there are any upcoming promos, those of us with grandfathered plans will probably be offered crumbs.

This ^ Yeah, I have a 256GB microSD card in mine. I don't have any issues withy phone so I don't see a reason to trade it in. I don't know if Samsung plans on making a new Note anytime soon, but I don't think it will give me everything that I already have.

Just fyi, the new galaxy s22 ultra is basically the "note 22" in everything but name. That said, it does not have an SD card slot

Nice deal OP! I was about to get the s22 from Costco for $600 but the phone felt too small to me. Was contemplating the s21 FE ($500 at Costco) which is as big as my current oneplus 6 but this deal is $50 cheaper and for a better phone!

Best buy locked phones cannot be unlocked by T-Mobile FYI

Bought one of these deals last year and when I called to have the phone unlocked , 3 different T-Mobile reps said only best buy can unlock the phone and best buy said only T-Mobile can unlock the phone

Some idiot on SD was saying that Best Buy Samsungs are sold as unlocked (unlike iPhones with reseller policies), got SG 21 5G for T-Mobile and it is locked to T-Mobile so hopefully good trade in deal for it comes along.

If you speak to tmobile they unlock it 40 days after your first use and if you contact their t-force on twitter they unlock it with 24hours to 3 days.
I have done it multiple times.
