It must be said, this is probably the worst tasting canned coconut milk product out there. It's weirdly thick and devoid of flavor. Chaokoh and Aroy-D are much better, and usually less expensive at a good asian market.

Regular price at my Costco is $9 and ~$6 when it goes on sale.

How is that even much cheaper? A quart of heavy cream is $5 near me.

Some recipes for ice cream using ninja creami suggest coconut milk. I've never tried, mainly just use almond milk or whole milk. Plus it's cheaper. Although if coconut milk helps with more reamy texture and calories amount, I might try it

Not gunna lie, I think coconut milk is pretty overrated and just too expensive. The other day I made curry with replacing coconut milk and coconut cream with almond milk, heavy cream, and coconut extract. Worked perfectly.
Not for everyone and I'm sure someone has some reason for getting specifically coconut milk/cream, but for cheapass people like me, here's a hack, lol.

Thank you for posting this. I was curious how this compared to the coconut milk at the Asian market. I'll definitely pass on this.

Coconut powder from Indian grocery stores work too. This canned stuff is overrated. I've seen coconut milk at Dollar Tree too.

This is $1.42 a can, my Asian market has different brands but I don't recall any cheaper than $1.42 a can. As far as quality and taste, I would agree that there are brands that taste better than this. In addition to Thai food I use coconut milk in soups. It works well with African peanut soup and cream of pumpkin so I try to keep a handful of cans on hand and tend to grab a couple of cans any time I see it at a decent price in the store.

Yum. Use it for curry but it seems to firm up in can.
