I am not following this deal.

When I go through checkout, it breaks down to $168 before tax. I then have to pay $168 to secure a pickup at HD.

Sale over or am I missing something?
In checkout you should see 78.97 for the battery and 89.03 for the blower.
Ship the blower to home and set the battery for pickup, then cancel the pick up order or don't pick it up and it'll be canceled after 7 days.

This time it would only let me cancel the entire order. The last 3 orders I was able to do the hack.

Stupid question. I am slowly changing all to Milwaukee. I currently have a 80 volt max Kobalt blower. Wouldn't that blow this 18 volt away? Am i missing something?

Off topic (sort of) but anyone have a recommendation for an inexpensive electric blower? I don't mind plugging it in and using a long extension cord, it's mostly just for my garage and driveway.

You have 3 blowers?

I have 5 blowers. A Billy goat roller, 2 back packs, and 2 battery operated ones. The gas powered ones are only used in the fall, or if I just edged and have to move a ton of dirt/sod.

I bought the greenworks 80v blower back in the day when it was $99. I leave it charged and in a patio box for cleaning off the back deck when people are over.

I also bought this Milwaukee by accident last week because they gave me a kit with the blower in it when I didn't order it.

This milwaukee blower is the worst milwaukee thing I've ever used and I have a ton of their stuff. I have 8 5.0 batteries and a few 8.0's. This blower will destroy a 5.0 battery in about 4 minutes. My greenworks will last for 15-20 minutes on a single charge and it is rated for 25% more CFM than the milwaukee

There is no reason for anyone to purchase this blower unless you want to spend a ridiculous amount of money on a super large battery. I don't shy away from the milwaukee ecosystem often, but this blower is the garbo

M18 blower is awesome. Blew some dog poo off the lawn back onto the neighbors LOL. And for $89 it can't be beat. All cordless high drain power tools like blowers can only run for 10-20 min top so keep an extra battery handy.

You can't judge power by voltage alone.

Voltage times amps equals watts, which is the amount of power flowing out of the batteries.

Some companies increase watts by increasing battery voltage - which is relatively cheap to do. Milwaukee increases watts by increasing the amps that can flow - this requires more robust batteries, wiring, and electrical components.

There could then be a difference in what each company does with the available wattage in terms of motor design and other physical specifications.

Thanks a lot for the explanation.

Correct. It's another reason why a 400Volt Tesla will out accelerate both the 800V Porsche and 800V Lucid. The other factor is the "C" rating. Basically it's how quickly power can be delivered from the battery.

Don't forget about the HS factor in the Tesla. (Holy Sh** this thing is fast!)

Yes it will only let you cancel the full order now. Anyone know if you had both items shipped to home if you could return just the battery to the store?
