I just got an email from Sportsline (through which you can get CBS All Access for free) that offers a free year for subscribers that cancelled their subscription renewal prior to 4/20. I originally got in on that deal for 15 months for $25, which is just about to expire for me. Must be claimed by 4/30. If you don't want to get charged after your free year is up, you'll have to cancel again. I can't tell if this is targeted or not, so YMMV.

The email subject is "Don't cancel – Get back in the game at SportsLine now!"
Quote :
Your VIP access to SportsLine is about to end, but it doesn't have to. For a limited time, you can reactivate your SportsLine subscription today and get an additional year for FREE (regular subscription price: $99.99 annual, $99.96 Quarterly, $119.88 Monthly).

That's every pick in every sport we offer, for an entire year, completely free, just because we don't want to see you go! E-mail [email protected] to take advantage of this exclusive offer!
...
HOW DO I REACTIVATE MY SUBSCRIPTION?
Just email [email protected] and request one free year be added after your current cancellation date. That's it, we'll handle the rest! You'll resume regular billing after your free year is up.
ARE THERE ANY COSTS TO REACTIVATE?
No, you won't owe anything until after your free year is up.* Then, you'll be a regular SportsLine VIP subscriber again on your previous plan at either $9.99 for a monthly subscription, $24.99 for a quarterly subscription or $99.99 for an annual subscription.
WHAT'S THE DEADLINE TO REACTIVATE?
You have until Saturday, April 30th to take advantage of this offer.

*Open to subscribers who cancelled prior to 4/20/2022. This offer of one free year of SportsLine begins at 12:01 a.m. ET on April 20, 2022 and expires at 11:59 p.m. ET on April 30, 2022. Must email [email protected] to redeem the Offer. Offer is not transferable. Valid credit card is required. *SUBSCRIPTIONS WILL AUTOMATICALLY RENEW, AND YOUR CARD WILL BE CHARGED BASED ON THE REGULAR PRICE OF $9.99 FOR A MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION, $24.99 FOR A QUARTERLY SUBSCRIPTION OR $99.99 FOR AN ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION, ON AN ONGOING BASIS UNLESS YOU CANCEL YOUR MEMBERSHIP PRIOR TO YOUR SUBSCRIPTION END DATE. To cancel, call (888) 508-3055 or email [email protected]. Cancellation will be effective at end of then-current subscription period. No refunds. Other restrictions and taxes may apply. Offer may not be combined with any other offers or discounts. Offer may be terminated or modified at any time without notice. For more information, see SportsLine Terms of Use.

Did you contact them and get the extra year? Was it simple?

I got the email too. It says to email [email protected] and "request one free year be added after your current cancellation date", so that's what I did. Will post back on what they say.

Edit:. Funny enough, just went into my sportsline account. It is active until October 2022, forgot the original deal was for 18 months, not 12. My CBS All Access has some totally different expiration date if I recall correctly.

I got the same thing. I bought a year of Sportsline on heavy discount because it includes Paramount Plus. I never even read Sportsline.

The year was expiring so I cancelled. It asked me in the cancellation of I want another year for free. I said yes.

It still includes Paramount Plus.

Works for me.

Wow, that was shockingly simple. I checked my sportsline account again and the new date is on there.

I think their number of support tickets is about to go through the roof, lol:

So then we have to go thru prior process of activating P+?

*Appears to be targeted as I already got a reply back from them. "Please forward the email sent to you in its entirety and screenshot its position in your inbox to take advantage of this promotion."

I cancelled on March 18, 2022. I never received the email and was asked to forward a copy of the email to take advantage of this offer, so yeah it's definitely targeted.

this was automatic awhile back:

We've extended your account completely free until Jul 31, 2023. You won't be charged at all until that date, but you still have access to all members-only content, lineups, and picks! You can contact us to cancel at any point and we will terminate access on that date.

NOTE: Subscribers are only eligible for one free extension per user. Your subscription access is immediately terminated upon cancellation if all paid subscription time has elapsed.
