Usually I stay away from "celebrity" survival stuff. But this guy seems pretty legit. He's spent a lot of time on remote hunting trips in a variety of climates.

When I'm backpacking or hunting, I take my Kindle instead of a hard copy book. It's smaller, lighter, doesn't require a headlamp to read, and can store multiple books.

That said, I own this book both in physical and digital formats and I prefer the physical when I'm home.

He is legit. He is the man behind the Meateater tv show and podcast. Both good if you like the outdoors and protein.
