I have used 250mb in the past 290 days. When at home, the phone is connected to wifi for updates and stuff. I have the low data mode android settings enabled so very few services run on cell data.

I go to android.com/find and it reaches out to the phone to determine location.

These have been same price (pre coupon) from TracFone on eBay but shipped in 2 days instead of almost two weeks from QVC or HSN. eBay listing currently was updated to say used but i recently ordered and got a new phone

Does anyone have experience using both of these models? I've used the G Pure myself and have been quite disappointed with the performance. Looks like the G Play has a Snapdragon CPU that scores a bit higher on benchmarks, but I wasn't sure if it was enough to make a real difference.

Of course. Great for an annual renewal. Just did one, and have another to do this week. I always take a screenshot of my account and contact customer service to have them activate and rollover. If you have a better phone, they'll even roll the updated service back to your better phone. Explain exactly what you need and have your account screenshot ready. It can take some time for your account to update. Not too long. Usually on a restart.

I used my rewards point to upgrade my 1 year old Moto G power to the Moto stylus 5g version for free with my referral points. Both Moto's have been rock solid and great battery life. I really couldn't be happier with the Verizon take over, except they are greedy with their free points in the monthly games. My reception area is amazing(YMMV) and it really makes my old SPRINT look like crap. If you are signing up make sure to join the rewards program and use a referral code to get 8,000 points. 8k Points = free 8gb of roll over data or you could get txt/phone minutes. I have had this going on 2 years and haven't paid a dime since my initial purchase.

When I had a G pure it was laggy doing basic stuff like swiping around. The g play has a better cpu that can do the basics very well. If I had to choose I would pick the g play any day.

I haven't seen many reports of purchases either way. Just odd to leave it if it's an error, a somewhat serious one, imo. Some user(s) tried to contact them but I didn't see any response.

This is my main phone. I'm a cheap bastard and always buy cheap phones. I've owned most of the Moto G phones since Motorola first came out with them. I use this on Red Pocket. Paid $49.00 ATT Prepaid from Walmart last year. No complaints. Good phone, runs smooth overall, camera is passable, battery life is insane. If you're not a phone geek or phone-elitist, you'll be fine with this phone.

Not recommended, TF VZ links sim to phone it comes with & it can mess things up.
Best to buy a TF BYOP sim kit for $1 and then move number/plan to new BYOP sim later to use in the iPhone, that way it's registered correctly.

I bought a Samsung TracFone last year and liked it. If I get the Moto G Pure and transfer/ activate it but later decide that I prefer my old Samsung phone instead, can I switch back to Samsung phone with all my minutes intact? And just save the Moto G for later as backup?
