I feel like the drill, impact driver, reciprocating saw, light, 1.5 Ah, 4.0 Ah batteries, bag, and charger at $75 (after hack) is a better deal than this. If you are going to start into the Ryobi ecosystem, might as well start with the 4.0 Ah battery.

I've never been able to find OEM filters for this hand vac. Without them they kick up a ton of dust and whatever else you're vacuuming up. They're always out of stock on home depot's site.

How often do they need to be changed? I'm just getting into the Ryobi One+ ecosystem as my Craftsman C9 system is impossible to expand and replace as batteries and tools are starting to die. I loved my Craftsman hand vac and was planning to get a couple Ryobis. But if they're terrible or a different vac model is better, then I'd like to know.

In some reviews, I see people putting a coffee filter with a rubber band over the filter. Maybe that helps?

$159 here and those are the old style batteries, have about 6 of them that are rarely used, they're good for a flashlight. Even the little cheap blower I have runs at a lower speed with one of those vs. a 3Ah or 4Ah battery.

I feel your pain - my main tools are the Craftsman C3 19.2v line, and it's a real bummer that they've discontinued it.

That said, you don't have to abandon the line if your C3 batteries are dying. There are plenty of generic lithium ion batteries available for the C3 tools now: I've used both "Powilling" and "Energup" brand C3 batteries in my tools, and they seem to work as well as the DieHard/XCP official batteries. Here's an example:

And C3 tools are mostly pretty cheap in the used market now, with the exception of the rarer tools, which are now bringing good money - like the miter saw and trim router.

I love using the 1.5ah battery i have for drilling and driving instead of the much heavier 4ah battery.

The OP deal is dead but the deal that person quoted me on is not. For some people it may be the better deal because you get a 1.5ah and 4ah battery at almost half the price.
