Not the best deal of all time, but would go well with the cordless shopvac deal if any of those buyers need batteries. And conveniently the shopvac can hold two batteries at once. These two 4AH's should give pretty good runtime together.

Have you seen them lower? I don't know that I have otherwise I may wait for a better deal.

this is a great price for 2 4ah batteries generally...
But Ridgid and DTO have spoiled us into expecting better.

Yep, that's what I'm waiting on. Personally, I don't *need* batteries urgently, and given the LSA when I do buy batteries I figure I may as well get the best. For those who just need a ton of batteries (probably contractors or heavy DIY users) I'm sure this is a good enough deal to bite.

Yeah, last November they were about $25/each. But I've never seen that deal prior or since.

Actually Ridgid changed their policy sometime last year that all their batteries are now LSA eligible regardless if they come in a kit or individually. So the 4AH batteries that I purchased in the first deal I posted above are indeed registered for the LSA.

Here's the product page for the 4AH two pack, and it mentions coverage under the LSA:

Was thinking about getting into the RIDGID ecosystem and ordering one of RIDGID's (discontinued) StealthForce pulse drivers (R86036K, I think), which only comes bare tool from HD now, so this might be just the ticket. Thanks OP.
