Kohls with kohls cash and rebate might be the best bet. Got one!

The battery life on these suck. Even if you hard wire into your house. Avoid unless you don't mind charging the battery every couple weeks. It takes about 10 hours to gather a full charge.

I returned mine and went back to the fully wired version.

FYI: the 2pk outdoor cam only has one wire and charger for charging, you need to purchase an additional wire and charger from google for more than the difference in price between two and one. Buying two 1pks will save you money in the long run.

It's a scam that no one knows about and they dont even mention it in the description.

Fyi you can get another cable for free from Google. Open a support ticket and they will send you one after you give them the serial number of your 2pack.

Title says "Google Nest Cam: Outdoor or Indoor (Battery) $80" but that model still shows $149 everywhere. Is the title just misleading?

Did you just say the battery life sucks even if you hard wire? Wouldn't hardwiring not require battery?

Google really drops the ball whenever they buy companies and lack integration with many of their services. It's just too many fragmented parts.

Yeah. I'm pretty deep in the Nest ecosystem but am floored by the fact they don't have at least a browser version of Google Home. I don't understand what the hell they were thinking. I refuse to buy any of the new products due to this. Seriously think this is what's going to push me over to Ubiquiti's UniFi system, but everything is always sold out
Almost bought another google cam, glad I went into the comments section. Not going to deal with the two app BS with my old / new cameras. And I've been playing with UniFi's cameras, about to try G3 Flex. If they were easier to find in stock I would probably already be running a couple of G4s.

Isn't going with Alexa-Ring ecosystem a better choice?
With variety of their products and new launches, feels like Amazon is way more committed to smart home and cameras than Google

I have a bunch of google stuff, already use the home app, but reading the comments it doesn't seem worth it. I don't want to pay a subscription fee for Ring. Seriously considering either the Eufy, which I have one of their cams already and seems to work quite well. Or the Blink. Anyone have any experience with these, thoughts? Would the Nest be better? Went from Ring Doorbell 3 to Google Nest Doorbell Battery and the battery life on the Google is atrocious. I need to recharge it every week and a half to two weeks. Might be because it records whereas the Ring didn't.

I have Google all throughout my house so I still prefer to make it work with the Nest Doorbell but I'm left having to figure out how to wire it to receive power (the battery version has wired capability). But I'm no pro at that and have to look up a bunch of videos on how to do all that.

Just something to keep in mind for anyone who's wondering what the experience has been like.

I assume by your comment that there is a way to leave the cameras connected 24/7? I have been thinking about buying some nest cams but I want a wired one since I don't plan on charging them every so often.
