such a crazy deal. cant speak of any quality but on paper alone this punches so hard above its price. also other manufacturers should take note.. $1000 laptops with 8gb/256gb starting and charge like $400 to double the ram/storage

So, it says out of stock on black if you try to add it to the cart but if you select black and click the buy now button -- let's you buy it.

Been looking for a while. Really just need something to be able to remote in on occasion -- but also didn't want something so under spec'd that I'd get mad when I tried to open a web browser. This should definitely do anything I'm wanting to do on it.

So I know this isn't the same gateway of old so what is the warranty/customer service like in case there are issues. I'd assume after 30 days Walmart is Out of the picture and then it's just Gateway or whoever owns the name now.

I got the refurb in December and I do like it but they did cut a couple of corners like the unbranded non nvme hdd and it is on the larger side for a 14". There was a deal earlier this month for a lenovo with the same specs minus 256gb storage for $490 that had backlit KB and fingerprint sensor and came in at 3lb. Some people did complain of hinge issues on other Lenovo's but that Lenovo IMO was priced right
