I own the 14" and have commented on it being a great laptop previously. It's still going strong after 1.5 years as my primary personal laptop and handles PD and DP (dual monitor via a hub) via USB C just fine. Yes it is clunky, but there really isn't anything comparable in the price range for the specs that you're getting.
not bad as long as you don't plan to upgrade anything and don't mind no backlit keys. The m2 slots in the 14in only use msata and cannot use nvme m2 ssd.
At least the type c does have DP and PD. Also HDMI 2.0
I had one that died on me. Worst customer service in the industry. They sent me 2 replacements that were low end celerons, then refused to exchange them for what I had originally purchased. 8 months later after I threatened to sue they finally sent the right replacement

The pre-install ssd slot will accept nvme. So if you need to up grade, move the 512gb to the expansion slot. There is a video on u-tube with a review and a ssd upgrade. I own this and has been using it since November last year. Nothing breaks so far and it boots up fast. The only downside I see is it does not charge with usb-c.

Incorrect...doesnt support NVME, only M2 SATA (this format is not as common as the others). It does charge through the USB C. You must have the 10th gen or different screen size.

Is this only for 15.6" model or also true for 14.1" model ?
I read the Q&A on gateway's site and it says "The GWTN156-7 unfortunately does not support NVMe M.2, only SATA" and "the GWTN141-10 does not support NVMe SSD" (for both these models, they say NVMe is not supported)
