Nice deal for an entry into Ryobi brushless tools. The best sale price on the Drill/Driver kit runs $129, and the saw and oscillating tools run $99/ea on sale, and the flashlight is a step up from the little one in the other kits. Thus, if these are the tools you need, this is a solid deal.

There're many reasons why someone might want to go with the nicer brushless tools, but the practically non-existent need to replace brushes shouldn't be one of them.
Oh, and another thing, I used to replace brushes in DeWalt products for others - but honestly, by the time those tools needed a brush change, they were so old and beat up that I questioned putting the time and expense into them versus just getting something modern.

Brushless Compact 8-Tool Combo Kit back in January for less than $300 after hack. You get an extra bag and 3 other brushless tools. Im hoping they bring that back.
The brushless tools are very good. And they're especially well suited for power hungry devices like a circular saw.
That being said, I have several brushed tools that work just fine for my use. That brushless multi tool might save me a few seconds several time a year. Am I going to really notice?

I noticed a huge difference but that's because I had a brushed set that was old with dying batteries.
